Hilbert Museum Presents:
Gordon McClelland: “By Popular Demand: Visitor Favorites from The Hilbert Collection”

Author and curator Gordon McClelland, noted expert on California Scene painting, will give an illustrated talk about the current exhibition at the Hilbert Museum that focuses on visitor-favorite artworks. Find out what appeals to visitors most about these popular paintings by California art icons Millard Sheets, Mary Blair, Emil Kosa Jr., Phil Dike, Burr Singer, Robert Frame, Eyvind Earle, John Severson, Ernie Barnes Jr. and many more. Audience Q&A follows the talk and slideshow. McClelland’s books on California art will be on sale at the event and he will be happy to sign your books.
