Join us for a dynamic, full-day educational experience dedicated to athletes' health, peak performance and meaningful inclusion at every level of sport.
This year’s keynote speaker, Kerry Peterson, brings a powerful perspective as an adaptive athlete, world traveler, advocate, speaker and medical professional. Through this year’s theme — Overcoming Challenges — Kerry will share insight and inspiration drawn from lived experience and clinical expertise.
Throughout the day, we’ll tackle timely and high-impact topics, including:
• Evidence-based injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies
• The rapidly evolving landscape of youth athletics
• Image and likeness considerations in collegiate athletes
• Overuse injuries and return-to-play decision making
• Case studies on common injuries, including ACL, high ankle sprains and upper extremity conditions
• An “Ask Me Anything” expert panel, designed to spark honest conversation and real-world solutions.
We’ll wrap up with a social hour, a relaxed opportunity to connect, collaborate and continue the conversation with colleagues and industry leaders.

Orthopaedic Education and Research Institute of Southern California DBA Hoag Orthopedics is a 501c3 non-profit founded by Hoag Orthopedic Institute physicians. The nonprofit exists to foster education, research, and community outreach in orthopedic care.
The mission of Hoag Orthopedics is to support meaningful research and education in health care with an emphasis in orthopedics, in order to improve the quality of health care provided within our community. Hoag Orthopedic Institute (#P12114) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education to Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been planned and implemented in accordance with the requirements and policies of the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) through the joint sponsorship of Hoag Orthopedic Institute and Hoag Orthopedics. Hoag Orthopedic Institute is approved by the BOC to provide continuing education for Athletic Trainers.
